About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer (refrigeration / HVAC as an essential skillset) with 4–5 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading all engineering design related activities at the company with a specific expertise in the refrigeration / HVAC system design, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables meet industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead refrigeration / HVAC system design for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/piping design.
Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications using SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Revit or other design tools.
Conduct energy efficiency analysis and ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and other relevant codes/standards.
Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project management activities.
Review and approve refrigeration / HVAC design documents, drawings, and calculations.
Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and tender documentation.
Conduct site visits for design validation and quality checks.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 4 to 5 years of experience
Preferred: A Master’s Degree in engineering, Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor and deeper familiarity with refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, renewable energy technologies, green building practices and industrial equipment designs involving thermal energy system. Hands-on experience of using design softwares including SolidWorks, AUTOCAD, REVIT is useful.
Good oral and written communication skills
Location: This is a Mumbai based position with an option of an alternate location as Panaji, Goa.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 6.00 pm with alternate Saturdays as working days for half days
